Compliance is a term that often has a negative connotation within a research organization. However, there are ways to approach compliance with a positive, pro-active strategy, such as prevention. This webinar will discuss prevention strategies that will help create a more adherent organization.
About the Presenter:
Beverly is senior director and lead for the Cancer Center Service Team at Huron Consulting Group. Her practice there focuses on helping cancer centers and research organizations address issues in clinical trials management and compliance, research administration, and addressing NCI guidelines for Comprehensive Cancer Centers. Bev previously served as Senior Vice President for Research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Associate Director for Administration at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center for seven years.
Prior to joining Harvard, she served for 15 years as executive director of the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania. Her other roles have included president of a consulting group, Medical Partnerships, Inc., vice president of Pennsylvania Hospital, and chief operating officer of a community hospital. She received her bachelor degree in education from Adelphi University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, she serves as an NCI CCSG site visitor and a member of external advisory boards for several comprehensive cancer centers. She was formerly president of the Cancer Center Administrators Forum.
